 greetings from the pan-handle.
i finally got some much needed time off , to do all the things i have to put on the back burner .
thank you -to gabriel rodregues , and his son-shrimp ,[they call him shrimp but he`s about 6`3 ] and frank fatiati for a most enjoyable weekend .
the first day we hit the flats for speckled trout , and just had a relaxing day on the water .
the second day , we went redfishing .
pictured here is frank with one of the many nice reds we caught .i lost count around 30 fish , we also got a few trout in the 24 to 27 inch range , verry respectable trout for this area.
we spent much of the second day doin the redfish shuffle- thats when you have 3 anglers with 3 fish on , and they all want to go around the boat in different directions .
i think i walked about 5 miles that day , 20 ft at a time .
folks the fishing is really on fire , and i cant stress enough , that theres no oil here, and its not affecting our beaches or fish in any way .
lets go and do the redfish shuffle together.
tight lines,
capt. steve
